Avalon gardens
Avalon backyards are bush blocks more often than lawns: sandstone, gum trees, and a deck somewhere in the middle of it. The deck is where the bar ends up.
Light is the thing to plan here. Under a canopy it's dark by seven even in January, so the bar brings its own and the steps up to it need yours.
Timber decks are fine. The bar stands on mats so the feet don't mark anything, and those live in the van rather than being an extra.
Avalon is the far end of the zone with nothing added for travel. Clareville, Careel Bay and the streets off Central Road are all inside it.
