Narrabeen has the most generous backyards on this stretch, which makes it the easiest place on the peninsula to put a bar. Grass, a gate wide enough for a trolley, and the job is straightforward.
The lagoon side gets still evenings and mosquitoes. The ocean side gets the southerly at four. Tell us which one you're on and the bar gets pointed the right way before guests arrive.
Because there's room, the bar can sit away from the house. The queue and the noise happen out on the grass instead of in the kitchen.
North Narrabeen, Warriewood and Turimetta are the same drive and the same price.

Can you set up at a rented house?
Yes. Check the lease allows a gathering of that size and we'll handle the rest.
What about Berry Reserve or Birdwood Park?
Council reserves need approval for an event and carry alcohol restrictions. Check with Northern Beaches Council before you plan around one.
Can you run the bar for a 21st?
Yes. Everyone drinking gets checked and the bar stops serving anyone who has had enough, including the birthday one. That part isn't negotiable. How birthdays run.
