What cocktail catering covers
Catering usually means food. When the drinks are catered the same way, the bar arrives stocked, the glassware is counted against the guest list, and one person is responsible for all of it from setup to pack-down.
The quote has two halves. Per head covers spirits, mixers, fresh juice, ice, garnish and glass. Per hour covers the bar, the bartender, setup and pack-down. Travel sits outside both and is zero anywhere on the Northern Beaches.
It runs alongside a food caterer without either getting in the way. Send the run sheet with canapés and speeches on it, and the bar is pouring before the first and quiet during the second.
One invoice at the end, itemised, with nothing to chase from a hire company afterwards.
On the truck
The bar
A fluted portable bar, the back bar behind it, and bins that leave with us.
Glassware
Counted against the guest list with spares, because glasses get put down and lost.
Ice
Cubed for shaking and block for stirring, in the quantity a hot February afternoon needs.
Garnish
Citrus cut on site that afternoon, not the night before.
If your food caterer has already quoted the drinks, get both numbers side by side before you decide. Sometimes theirs is the better deal, and you should know that before you send us anything.
Who supplies the alcohol
We do
Priced into the per-head figure. Nothing for you to buy, carry, or have left over in the garage.
You do
You buy the spirits. We bring the bar, the kit and the service, and charge for those.
A bit of each
Common at weddings: you handle beer and wine, we handle the cocktails.

Guest count, hours and where it is gives you a range. The written quote with the menu on it follows the same day.

Questions about catering
How is cocktail catering priced?
Per head for what goes in the glass, per hour for the bar and the bartender. The tool above gives you the range and the written quote itemises it.
Can you work alongside our food caterer?
Yes, and it happens often. We need the run sheet, and somewhere to set up that isn't the same two metres the kitchen wants.
How many bartenders will we need?
One bartender comfortably serves about forty guests on cocktails. Past forty the queue becomes the problem, not the drinks, so we add a second.
Do you need power?
Only for anything frozen. Everything else runs off ice.
What about guests who aren't drinking?
Two non-alcoholic options are built into every menu and made to order the same way, not poured out of a bottle of juice.
Is there a minimum spend?
There is, and we'll confirm it when you send us the date and the guest count.
Send us the date and the guest count
We'll come back with a menu and a written quote.
