Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site or send an enquiry, and what happens to it. No surprises.
Who we are
This site is run by Ollie Attrill, trading as Coastal Cocktails by Ollie (ABN 35 170 605 438), a mobile cocktail bar and cocktail catering business on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We handle your information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
Only what we need to quote your event and get back to you. When you send the enquiry form, that is:
- your name and email address, and your phone number if you add it;
- your event date, guest numbers, service hours and location;
- which page you sent it from, and how you arrived at the site — so we know whether to say "you found us through Instagram" instead of asking.
We do not ask for payment card details through this site, and you should never send them to us by email. Invoicing details come with your booking confirmation.
You can browse the whole site, including the price estimator, without giving us anything. The estimator works entirely in your browser: moving the sliders sends us nothing. We only hear from you when you press send.
How we use it
To prepare your quote, reply to you, and run your booking. We don't sell your details, we don't pass them to other businesses looking for leads, and we don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
If your event goes ahead, we keep enough of it to do the job: the date, the address, the headcount and the menu.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages people actually read and where visitors come from. It tells us things like "most people arrive on the weddings page from Instagram" — it does not tell us who you are, and we never try to work that out. Google sets cookies (small files in your browser) to do the counting.
Nothing on this site needs cookies to work. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, and every page will behave exactly as before. The only other thing we store in your browser is a note that you have dismissed the cookie message, so it stops reappearing.
Who else handles your information
Two services sit behind the site:
- Netlify hosts the site and receives enquiry-form submissions before passing them to us by email. Submissions are also stored in our Netlify account so nothing is lost if an email goes astray.
- Google Analytics processes the usage data described above.
Both are large providers with their own privacy terms, and both may store data outside Australia. Beyond that we don't share your details with anyone, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into bookings are kept while there's a reasonable chance you'll come back to us, then deleted. Booking records are kept for seven years, because tax and insurance record-keeping requires it. Ask us at any time and we'll delete your enquiry sooner.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cocktailsbyollie@gmail.com and we'll deal with it within 30 days, at no charge.
If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. We'd rather you told us first and gave us the chance to fix it.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date below. Last updated September 2026.
