Two Collaroys, one bar
Collaroy splits in two for anyone carrying a bar. Beachfront means wind, and a short walk. The plateau means a driveway, a view, and a better spot for the umbrella.
The requirement is the same on both: two flat metres, and a path wide enough to wheel a bar down. Long Reef and the streets behind Long Reef Golf Club are the same drive.
Beachfront afternoons carry the wind that comes straight off the break, so the umbrella gets weights and the back bar goes behind it.
Everything gets rinsed at the end of the night instead of left in the van. Salt air is hard on glassware and harder on the shakers.
Booking notes
Wind
Beachfront afternoons need the umbrella weighted. The weights live in the van.
Parking
Pittwater Road is tight at six. Say so and we'll come at five instead.
Coverage
Collaroy, Collaroy Plateau, Long Reef and Fishermans Beach.
If it's a windy November afternoon on the beachfront, a courtyard one street back is the better night. We would rather set up there than watch the umbrella fight you for four hours.

Questions from Collaroy
Can you set up outdoors in November?
Yes. Sun and wind get planned around, and the umbrella and its weights come as standard.
Do you cover Collaroy Plateau and Long Reef?
Both, with nothing added for travel.
Can we hold it on the beach?
Northern Beaches Council runs alcohol-free zones along most of this foreshore, and an event on the reserve needs approval. A house or a courtyard is the easier answer.
How many guests fit around one bar?
One bartender serves about forty on cocktails. Past that, the queue is what people remember about the night.
